As the days get longer and energy begins to lift, Spring into Balance invites our community to gently reset, re-energise, and find rhythm again.
Following the slower, inward pace of our Wintering Series, this spring programme is about restoring balance between movement and rest, focus and flexibility, nourishment and energy.
Across March, April, and into May, we’ll be bringing together wellbeing sessions, seasonal food moments, and nature-inspired activities that reflect the feeling of spring: growth, renewal, and steady momentum.
The Intention Behind Spring into Balance
Spring is a time of transition. Rather than rushing into high gear, Spring into Balance encourages a supportive approach, allowing energy to return naturally while staying grounded.
This series is designed to help you:
- Rebuild movement and strength after winter
- Support energy levels
- Feel more connected to seasonal change
- Create sustainable wellbeing habits that fit around your working day
Whether you join one session or many, Spring into Balance is about finding what feels good for you.

April :
Featured Book: Spring by Michael Morpurgo
As part of Spring Into Balance, our next Read + Return library spotlight is Spring by Michael Morpurgo - an uplifting and reflective read that captures the quiet hope and renewal the season brings.
Through storytelling rooted in nature and human connection, Spring reminds us that change often begins gently. It’s a book about noticing light returning, finding perspective, and allowing optimism to re‑emerge after darker months - themes that echo throughout this series.
You’ll find copies available in the Read + Return members library on Floor 2; feel free to borrow, read, and return.
Beyond the Sessions
Nourishment & National Nutrition Month (March)
To support balance beyond movement, March will also focus on nourishment as part of National Nutrition Month.
Expect:
- Community Lunch with a health-forward focus
- Brew Break featuring fruit smoothies
- Regular fruit baskets so healthy snacks are available
- Easy, accessible ways to support steady energy throughout the day
These moments are about connection as much as nutrition - sharing food, ideas, and time together.
Growing Into April & May: Planting Seeds
As spring unfolds, the series will continue to evolve.
April brings opportunities to connect with nature and growth, with plans to tie into:
- National Gardening Month
- Earth Day
Through light-touch activities and events, we’ll explore themes of planting seeds, new beginnings, and uplifting energy - both personally and professionally. Think small actions, gentle rituals, and moments that reflect growth over time.
Details will continue to grow as the season does.
A Seasonal Invitation
