The people I have met here make it a dream coming in a few times a week! I don't see myself being able to go back to working from home the same way I did before coming to Plus X Innovation, I don't think I could leave the sense of community behind. It really is something everyone who is working from home should try!
Central Research Laboratory has contributed to our journey in many ways: access to a network, manufacturing, procurement services, and workshop facilities. CRL enables us to feel like a slightly bigger company than we would otherwise be if left to our own devices. Being here at CRL as a cohort member, makes it feel a lot more real and plugged in into the ecosystem.
Besides the workshop facilities, the best thing about working in the Brighton hub has got to be being able to collaborate with people in the same building as you. The variety of expertise and experience in the building is awesome.

As a Data & AI Specialist at Microsoft, Tancredi's goal is to promote a culture of responsible innovation, where AI solutions are ethical and trustworthy, aligned with the values and needs of the users, and of society, whilst exploring new domains where AI can make a positive impact.
Professor Tatiana Kalganova leads the Research Centre on AI: Social and Digital Transformation at Brunel University London. With over 30 years of experience in designing and implementing applied Intelligent Systems, she has garnered numerous international awards, including the 2016 Caterpillar Chairman’s Award for Process/Business Innovation and the 2020 and 2023 Research Impact Awards. At the panel, Professor Kalganova will share her expertise on green, environmentally friendly AI (EcoAI) and discuss her pioneering research in trustworthy AI solutions, highlighting their potential to drive sustainable and ethical technological advancements.
Jamie is co-founder and CEO of Cordon Technologies, a startup building precision sprayers for fruit farms to reduce pesticide inputs and reduce operating costs for farmers. Cordon's sprayers combine a revolutionary atomization technique with machine vision and AI to control the precise application of sprays in outdoor environments. Before Cordon, Jamie was viticulturist and winemaker for his own vineyard in France; previously took The Sampler, a London based wine retailer, through to profitability; and also spent 10 years as a Venture Capitalist making software and semiconductor investments.
